2. ACCREDITATION PRINCIPLES

Editors of publications and media agencies are requested to adhere to the following principles to ensure media accreditation is limited to professional journalists, reporters, photographers, and camera crews:

a. Professional Use Only: The Media Pass is considered a working tool to be used solely by bona fide members of the press. Marketing personnel, publication secretariat staff, and administrative staff are not eligible for accreditation.

b. Accreditation Criteria: The organizers will only accredit publications and broadcast media that:

  • Meet the circulation size and quality criteria set by the organizers.
  • Fulfill the format and quality requirements established by the organizers.

c. Internal Publications: Internal company publications are generally not eligible for accreditation. However, at the sole discretion of the organizers, such publications may be considered for accreditation on a case-by-case basis, provided they meet the quality and circulation criteria.

d. Restrictions on Agencies: Advertising and public relations agencies, as well as personnel (including press officers) from sponsors, suppliers, and exhibitors, will not be accredited as media.

e. Single Accreditation: No double media accreditation is permitted. Media personnel must be at least 18 years old to attend the events.

f. Right to Bar: The organizers reserve the right to deny accreditation to applicants and their organizations for future events due to misconduct or misrepresentation of their roles, publications, or news organizations.

g. Notification of Absence: If an applicant is unable to attend IDECS 2024 after receiving accreditation approval, they are required to inform our media team as soon as possible.
